My thoughts are like pixels on a screen. They're pointless all alone, but piece them together and maybe you'll see a larger picture.

That used to be me, to a tee. But one day I met somebody and it was easy, because she was the right person. At the time, I had given up hope of ever meeting anybody again- after being unexpectedly dumped by a girlfriend of several years. I really was beyond caring about dating. I went on some, for fun, but I was just doing my own thing, indulging in my interests, hanging out with friends. Perhaps, ironically, it was that "I'm happy being single" mindspace that made the next relationship seem easy to achieve.
Yeah, see, I wasn't exactly looking for advice. And especially not the kind of advice I've heard a billion times before and that I really don't buy into. I appreciate you trying to be helpful though.
I'm really more interested in what the response would be if, for argument's sake, I posted a profile like this one. Although may be your words of advice are a direct indication of exactly the type of feedback I could expect if I were to post something like this on a dating site.
Take it or leave it. Even if you don't buy into it, it's true. Those billion other people were right, too.
I have to say you do come across as lonely and desperate, even if you're trying to be funny. I'm also looking at past posts to put this in context, by the way. Women flee from lonely and desperate.
I know a woman who posted a joke personal ad, got a date, and got married to that guy. No kidding. They read the ad at the wedding. Is that more along the lines of what you want to hear?
Lonely? Sure I am, in certain respects. But desperate? No. You're just going to have to trust me on this. When I wrote this post I was in a very specific mindset for very specific reasons.
I could try and explain all my thoughts and feelings here, but I'd probably end up writing a book and confuse the issue even further. So I'm going to leave it at that.

Just my two cents. Good luck.

Meh. And more Meh.

Women are also attrated by money. Here is an example:
